Abstract
Endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery is no longer be used for chronic
rhinosinusitis and nasal polypi.
Nasal and sinus endoscopy is now used for surgery of benign and
malignant tumors of nose and nasal sinuses, treatment of CSF leaks,
surgery of pituitary gland, tumors of the clivus, orbital and optic nerve
decompression, orbital floor fracture repair and many other indications
that have emerged with time.
Here in this study we will discuss the different applications of endoscopic
nasal and sinus surgery rather than chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polypi
and the advantages of endoscopy over open procedures.
