Abstract Several studies have shown that surgical induced astigmatism after cataract surgery depends – although not only to a great extent on the incision size and this has led to the use of phacoemulsification as a preferred method for cataract extraction. The use of phaoemulsificatoin allows emulsification of cataratous lens by using ultrasonic vibration by titanium needle with sharp edges and thereby, the nucleus can be aspirated through a small incision.CATARACT SURGERY |
