المستخلص

This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of 64 MSCT angiography in detection of obstructive & non obstructive atherosclerotic plaques in Left Coronary Artery compared to Coronary Angiography.
This study was carried out on 30pt referred to our military hospitals for suspected CAD.
Patients were 24 male & 6 females with age range between 39-62 years old.
Each one in this study was subjected to the following:
1- Complete history taking.
2- Full clinical examination.
3- Routine 12 lead ECG.
4- MSCT angiography.
5- Coronary angiography.
Results of this study showed the following:
1) 64 MSCT Angiography allows a non invasive assessment of haemodynamically significant CAD with a high diagnostic accuracy.
2) A Sensitivity & NPV of 100% in detecting atherosclerotic plaques causing lumen stenosis of < 50% in left coronary artery as coronary angiography.
While Specificity was:
a) 71.9% Per Artery Analysis.
b) 75% Per Patient Analysis.
c) 87.86% Per Segment Analysis.
