Abstract
The present work was planned to synthesize some new heterocyclic compounds containing pyrrolo (2.3-d) pryimidines, furo(2.3-d),pyrimidines, thieon(2.3-d) pyrimidines and pyrazolo(3.4-d) pyrimidines of anticipated biological and medicinal importance. also the reaction of the latter compounds with avariety of reagents to produce other condensed heterocyclic system. moreover some of the synthesized compounds were tested in vitro for their antimicrobial activities.
