Abstract
The recommended and applied modifications have led to two main outcomes first, quality
Improvement and stable production second cost reduction and material saving two
case studies applied in tire industry, first case study is quality improvement by studying the most significant defects in the final product. By sorting all defects, which cause scrapped tires, stretched ply defect was the most frequent defect by using Pareto analysis Quality improvement tools like check sheet, case and effect diagram, control charts are used for studying this defect.
