Abstract The main aim of this study Firstly study the relation between health habits and incidence of parasitic infection among preschool and primary school children. Secondly compare the incidence of parasitic infection between preschool. A comparative study was carried out on 300 children selected from three nursery schools and three primary schools, the sample was classified as 150 children from nursery school aged 5-6 years and 150 children from primary schools ages 6-11 yearsAn interview questionnaire sheet was developed by the researcher and used for each child . Besides urine and stool analysis was performed for each child to detect the various types of parasites in each groupThe main finding of the study were:- 1- A significant difference (p0.05) in general characteristics of the sample such as maternal education and occupation in regard to parasitic infection between the two studied groups was detected. |
