Abstract
ABSTRACT
The advances of web technologies such as the internet, HTML and XML have greatly pushed the development of web-based systems such as Electronic Commerce(E-Commerce) and Electronic Education(E-Education). Today, with the increasing importance of these systems in many organizations which offers opportunities to improve the way that businesses interact with both their customers and their suppliers, the need for intelligent agenta to support both customers and suppliers is growing rapidly.
In this thesis we considered the problem of taking the correct decision about product selection and recommendations via web-based systems that can be frustrating due to the lack of help or decision support given to the user. Using intelligent agents can automate the activities of buyers and sellers and reduce the intervention of human in the system. Also these agents can perform specific tasks on the behalf of students, instructors, and other members of the educational community such as alumni.
