Abstract
the objective of this research is to study the second-order effects of the compressive loads on the dynamic charactristics of framed structrures. in this study , it is focused on the relations between p/p and the natural frequencies of the system.-of rectangular and trapezoidal frames. in addition , the effect of the amount of diagonal bracing on the critical loads-natural frequency relation is investigated.brin order to get the relations between p/p and the natural frequencies of a structur , a computer program written for this purpose , is used. the theoretical bases of the computer program are presented in chapters 5-9.
