Abstract The present study was planned to investigate the toxic effect of currently used carbamate herbicide on the widely cultured fresh water fish common carp through : 1-Measurement of medium lethal concentration of Saturn herbicide for cultured common carp. 2-Reigstration of clinical signs and postmortem lesions of affected fish after a cute and chronic exposure to the herbicide. 3-Biochemical investigation of the liver and kidney functions of the common carp after a cute and chronic exposure to the herbicide. 4-Investigation of the haematological changes in fish exposed to a cute and chronic toxicities of the Saturn. 5-Studying the histopathological alterations in different fish tissues. 6-Determination of the herbicide residues in different body organs of exposed fish. |
