Abstract

from the results a and all above mentioned information on the grounds of the present study, it can be summarized that the presented work was carried out to investigate the important role of some parasites in transmitting some zoonotic infestations. Therefore, a survey on the zoonotic parasites of zoo primates was carried out. The study was conducted in Giza Zoo-Egypt Champanzee (8), Orangentan(2), Baboons monkey (16), Grevat inonkey(4),vervet monkey(51), black inengaby(5), Mandrill(4) white nosedm monkey (1)Pig tailed uionkey(1), Batase(4), Yellow baboon(2)-Mengaby(1), Macaque(7)-Capachin(1O)- Lemurs(9)polar beer(2),Heinalian beer(4), Brown beer(3) and attendant(4).
Faecal samples were examined parasitologically and from the results achieved that toxoplasma were positive to haemagglutionation test for the detection of toxoplasma antibodies in the blood.
The results revealed the presence of both blood and
intestinal zoonotic parasites. Trichuris was the most
common helzninth found among the examined animals. The
negative results were only found during autum season. Both asoaris adult warm as well as ascaris egg were rcovered among two types of beer (Polar and Brown).
