Abstract
The present investigation was planned to study the efficacy of three fasciolicidal drugs Triclabendazol (Fasinex 1O.%). Ivomec F and praziquantel (Distocide) and some biochemical changes in infested animals as well as in apparently healthy anima is.
A total number of 35 infested cattle and 30 infested ewes as well as 14 clinically healthy cattle and 10 ewes were used.
All animals were investigated by [aecal analysis to calculate the mean egg count and blood samples were collected to determine the following parameters : Total serum proteins. albumin, alobulin, serum transaminases. total serum bilirubin creat.znine. and urea
The results obtained were
1- The efficacy of the drugs on Faecal egg counts:
Triclabendazole (Fasinex 10 *) in cattle!
The mean egg count was reduced by 52.01 after 72 hours :rom the application of the drugs and reduced v 100 from the
week after the application of the drugs till the end of the pcriment.
