Abstract
Continuous thoracic paravertebral block proved to be an effective method in the management of pain in patients with unilateral multiple fracture ribs, moreover it proved to be superior to the use of systemic analgesia via patient controlled a nalgesia (PCA) as it improves respiratory parameters and arterial blood gas tension in these patients.
