Abstract
A review of the literature was made concerning psoriasis vulgaris with special reference to the keratinocyte growth factor receptor and therapeutic effect of ultraviolet B in psoriasis vulgaris. Assessement of the effect of ultraviolet B on expression of Keratinocyte growth factor receptor was the aim of this work. The study was done on 40 patients with plaque type psoriasis vulgaris their ages ranged between 14 years and 70 years with a mean of 42.45 Yrs all patients were subjected to detailed history taking, medical and dermatological examination, punch biopsy from psoriatic lesions and perilesional skin before UVB.
