Abstract
Blood samples were collected from ten animals of each group in the indicating time at the end of (7th, 14th and 28th days).
1-The 1st tube containing mixture of sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate (1:3) as 10 mg for each 2.5ml blood to get blood plasma for determination of blood glucose. (0.5 ml of blood).
2-The 2nd tube without anticoagulant where 2ml of blood was allowed to flow smoothly into labeled centrifuge tubes, left to clot and the serum were obtained by centrifugation at 3000 r.p.m for 15 minutes. The clear supernatant serum was harvested into dry sterile and labeled tubes, which used for estimation of C-peptide, Triacylglycerol (T.G.), total cholesterol, HDL- cholesterol and LDL- cholesterol. The serum was subsequently stored at –20°C until biochemical analysis.
