Abstract
Talc aim of the study was to assess the pain threshold, pain tolerance, as well as the sensory threshold in the fibro^l^T^lyalgia 20 patients with fibromyalgia and 20 control were included in this study. Ml subjects were selected Tom those patients attending the outpatient clinic of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Electrical stimulation was used as a source of painful noxious stimulation. Tbe patient judgemcnt of the elicited sensation was used to indicate the level of the sensory threshold and pain threshold as well as the pain tolerance. Personality scale amassment using the ~Mi^Mesot^ta multiphasic personality inventor scoring sheet (arabic translation) for all the patients and the control was done.
