Abstract
The ruminant animals in Egypt considered as an important ‘filch are necessary for agriculture and it’s a source of milk, skin arid wool which are necessary for human being. t aids the farmer in some works and fertilization of the From the diseases which infecting animals the helminthes, tudies were carried out on gastrointestinal parasites, so found that there is a more increase of study to helminth parasites specially in Kalubia Governorate, The study was d out and included liver flukes and cysts of tape worms Id cysts. Cysticercus bovis and C’ysticercus tenuicollis) it included that:
e percentage of infection with the helrninth tissue parasites ong slaughtered animals, where the examination of 10752 irnals during the period from 1988 — 1990 obtained that 1765 irnals were infected with liver flukes (Fasciola gigantica), 4 with ydatid cysts, 126 with C’ysticercus bovis and 121 Lh Cysticercus tenuicollis.

f been reached 17.36 9 , 21.07 96, 9.58 %, 19.79 % and 0.16 96 among cattle, buffaloes. sheep, goats and camels respec— tively. Also the percentage of infection was higher in females than males .
