Abstract Isolation of Eimeria stiedae strain from infected field cases and mentally reisolation to obtain pure strain. Propagation of reisolated strain ceptible baby rabbits (one month age) to increase the amount of pure Preservation of Eirneria stiedae sporulated oocysts in refrigerator at 4°C done. Sporozoites of Eirneria stiedae were also preserved in refrigerator iquid nitrogen. Three types of vaccines against E. stiedae were prepared from sporulated sts afler exposure to different levels of radiation (10, 15 and 20 K rad). The med vaccines were inoculated into 4 groups of susceptible rabbits. Each ip consisted of 10 rabbits, one month age, the first three groups vaccineated inoculated irradiated sporulated oocysts at 10, 15 and 20 K rad, respectively, the 4th group was left as non-vaccineated control animals. The animals onded normally to vaccination. All 3 groups gave level of senuri antibodies against Eirneria stiedae but in the first group (10 K rad) higher than that of the second and third groups and 20 K rad). No clinical adverse reactions could be detected in vaccineated animals. |
