Nonuited femoral shaft fractures in adults continue to challenge the orthopaedic surgeons due to the functional disability and the economic impact on the patients .for this reason , different treatment modalities were developed to treat this catastrophe.the final outcome was affected by the history of infection , associated injuries, and the type of initial injury.age,sex,shape of bone ends, and site of nonunion all had no effect on the final outcome.
