Abstract
The reconstruction of sinai is one ot: the most important natl.onal planes Vlhich has received particular attention since the last October 1973 war • To achieve such a goal the utmost need is concentrated to have various ceramic products which are.necessary in such cases. Building brick, ceramic tiles, refractories, porcelain, portland cement, among various products are to be considered • In the majority ot such industries clays are of the main constituents as they are considered as the backbone of ceramic industries (1) • In Egypt the need for a new sources for clay is continuously increasin~ to meet the progressive increased rate of various ceramic products •Building bricks industry, for instance, is based mainly on clays and the plants for production are distribute allover,the country. Such an industry was carried out using the aLl.uvf.umsediments, deposited regularly after each annua flood of the River Nile • As the high dam Vias constructed at Aswan sush sediments are retained infront of the dam in the great lake • Workers in this industry searched for another clay sources to substitute t he missed alluvium deposits
