Abstract
This study was carried out using 3 herbs which are commonly used in Egypt (sweet basil, geranium and licorice).
* The study was carried out as follows:
· Fourty two adult male Albino rats, Sprague dawely strain, mean weight was 109.16 + 4.47 g, rats were divided into 7 groups each of 6 rats, the groups were:
1. Control group fed on standard diet.
2. G1 fed on sweet basil 5%.
3. G2 fed on sweet basil 10%.
4. G3 fed on geranium 5%.
5. G4 fed on geranium 10%.
6. G5 fed on licorice 5%.
7. G6 fed on licorice 10%.
