Abstract
This thesis consists of four chapters
Chapter one is devoted to present definitions and basic concepts, that will be used through out this thesis and literature of reliability for standby systems are reviewed.
In chapter two, we study reliability of two-unit cold standby redundant system subject to mixture as a lifetime distribution. Various measures of system reliability are obtained. Finally numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical results.
In chapter three probabilistic analysis of a two-unit cold standby redundant system subject to imperfect server man, imperfect switch and mixture as a lifetime distribution is studied. Various reliability measures of system reliability are also found. Finally numerical example is given to discuss the theoretical results.
Chapter four is devoted to study reliability of two-unit cold standby redundant system subject to mixture as a lifetime distribution with Preventive Maintenance. Many reliability measures of system reliability are obtained. Finally numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical results.
