Abstract
In our study we evaluate the pulmonary artery pressure in children
presented with nephrotic syndrome. This study was conducted on 40
children (20 males and 20 females) were selected randomly from
Nephrology Unit and Pediatrics Nephrology Clinic of Zagazig University
Hospitals. Their ages are ranged from 2 to 14 years from June 2005 to
the end of June 2006.
They were classified into two main groups:
1 - group I (control children): This group comprised 10 children age
and sex matched as a control group free of kidney disease.
2 - group II ( Patients): Which is furtherly divided into:
a- group (lIa): Steroid sensitive nephrotic patients.
b- group (lIb): Steroid dependent nephrotic patients.
c- group (lie): Steroid resistant nephrotic patients.
