Abstract Effects of cutting systems based on the date of last cut for forage and P levels with or without bio-fertilization on forage and seed yields of two Egyptian clover cvs (Gemeza1 and Local cv) were studied under Ismailia conditions. Highest total fresh forage, dry forage and protein yields were resulted by taking 4 cuts/season, where conducting last cut for forage on is” April. Highest seed yield was obtained with taking 3 cuts/season with conducting last cut for forage on 15th March. Applying 31 kg P20s/fad followed by 15.5 kg P20s/fad +microbein were recommended for obtaining highest forage and seed yields ofberseem-. Gemeza 1 was the superior in forage yield, while Local variety was the superior in seed yield. |
