Abstract

Aim of the work
Clarifying the role of antiangiogenic factors; vascular endothelial factor and endostain in the pathogenesis of leukemia and lymphoma in children. Also, we hope to synthesize and catch a new strategy for management of such diseases.
Conclusion
1- Both serum VEGF and endostain levels are significantly increased in cases of leukemia and lymphoma at diagnosis.
2- Serum VEGF levels are significantly decreased after complete remission than those levels at diagnosis.
3- Serum endostain levels have non significant differences after complete remission than those levels at diagnosis.
4- No role of age or subtypes of both leukemia and lymphoma in VEGF and endostain expression.
5- VEGF and endostain expression ascribes an important role in children with leukemia and lymphoma.
6- VEGF and endostain expression has a prognostic role for follow up cases with leukemia and lymphoma.
