المستخلص
This study area is apart of the eastern coast of Egypt. It is located in the western coast of red sea in the north of al-qusayr town and is bounded by latitudes 26 06 – 23 – 00 n., and longitudes 33 56 – 00 and 34 17 – 00 e it occupies an area of approximately 290.69 km.
The present study has been divided into seven chapters as follows:
Chapter one :
Presents study of lithology characteristics for rockey structures.
Chapter two:
Reveals factors and processes of study area formation these have been devided into continental formation these have been devided into continental formation factors represented by various climatic elements.
Chapter three:
Is concerned with study of morphmetric analysis for drainge basins.
Chapter four:
Is devoted for the characteristics of the slopes in the area it has been carried out through 12 field profiles.
Chapter five:
Focuses on continental geomorphological phenomena’s in the area they include structural phenomena’s which include surfaces of erosion , river georges pot-holes, river meanders, and stream piracy.
Chapter six :
Studies geomorphological phenomena’s of coastal area that resulted from marine erosion such as cliffs and shore platforms and from marine deposition such as shores and marches.
Chapter seven :
Dealt with the physical and human sources in the area of study and potential of their development.
This chapter has studied physical and human features which character the study area and some human activities such as mining , tourism and fishing and how we can benefit from them.
