Abstract

The renewable energy sources are used in a wide spread nowadays. So it is fruitful to study the ability of feeding a telecommunication staion with a stand alone photovoltatic (PV) system. Radio repeater are digital radio signal amplifer, which increase the connection reliability of mobile telephones within radio cells and raise the accessibility level throughout the network.Inrular areas and in muountainous regions, repeaters often have to install and operated at sites remote from the public electricity grid. THE USE OF PV SPECIALLY IS BASED ON; THE POWR SUPPLY FOR REPEATER SHOULD BE RELIABLE AND FREE OF MAINTENCE. IN REMOTE SITES FOR COMMUNICATIONS PURPOSES AND IN THE LONG RUN THE PHOTOVOLTAIC BECAME THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE MEANS OF SATISFYING THE REMOTE ENERGY REQUIREMNTS. THEIR HIGH-COST WAS OFFSET BY THEIR LONG LIFE, LOW MAINTENANCE. PV ARRAY THE PRIMARY ENERGY SOURCE DURING THE DAY AND THE LEAD ACID BATTERY IS THE AUXILIARY UNIT DURING THE NIGHT PERIOD.
