Abstract yours adust laboratery- !brad albino ratisyepts under.stsuct hygienic conditions were used to maintain the Trich- inella larvae for antigen p~oduct1on. Rat’s were offered fresh Trichinella infected pork. ~O d~s after inrection rat’s were euthonized with either and killed. Rat’s diap- hragms were iofected individuals were used fo~ obtaining the larvae. from these rats diaphragm as well as skeletal muscles of fore, hind limbs, tongue and maseter muscles were cut into small pieces and each 10 gms. muscles samples were place~ in conical flaskswere added to the muscles. Trichinella larvae were separa-ted using Bae rmann t s funnel for about 24 hours.• The ef- feciency of dif.{erent typea. of digestive fluids were dete.r- mined. It was found that 400 ml. of 1% pepQin and 0.7% HCI per 10 gillS. infected meat was the best fluid concentrations. Trial for antigen prepartion was adopted using the sus- pension of the following: (1) Fresn living Trichinella larvae. (2) Digested TriChinella larvae. (3) Trichinella larvae exposed to destruction by means of freezing and tnawing. (4) TriChinella larvae exposed to destruction by means of. |
