Abstract
The main aims of this study concern mainal with delineation and evaluation of both structural and hydrological patterns prevailed in the new qeft industrial city as well as determination and estimation of nature of the overburied foundation layers and their geotechnical tone in the area .
This area far 14 km eastward qeft town and located between longitudes 32 -49-51-32-52-20E and latitudes 25-58-56-26-01-56 n to cover about 30 km.
The present study embraces land survey magnetic data analysis electromagnetic sounding electrical resistivity laboratory measurements of electrical properties.
Two dimension resistivity and shallow seismic refraction surveys.
The study aims at detailing the prevailing subsurface conditions from the viewpoint of groundwater location depth and quality .Also it including detecting the nature and the shape of the hidden buried materials under surface.
