Abstract

IN TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEMS, IT IS DESIRED TO OBTAIN A GOOD PRODUCT, BY KEEPING THE TEMPERATURE AT A DESIRED VALUE. FOR EXAMPLES, IRON FURNACES, GLASS INDUSTRY, CEMENT INDUSTRY, PLASTIC INDUSTRY, AND PREPARATION OF SUPPER CONDUCTING SAMPLES NEEDS A SPECIFIC TEMPERATURE OF AN ELECTRICAL FURNACE SYSTEM. THE AIM IS TO DESIGN A ROBUST CONTROLLER TO REGULATE THE TEMPERATURE OF ELECTRICAL FURNACE SYSTEM. BECAUSE OF THE HIGH CAPACITY OF THE ELECTRICAL FURNACE SYSTEM AND THE VARIATION OF OPERATING CONDITIONS.
FLC IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BECAUSE IT IS KNOWN TO BE ROBUST WITH RESPECT TO DISTURBANCES, LARGE UNCERTAINTY AND VARIATIONS IN PROCESS BEHAVIOR. MOON ET AL, REPORTED AN INTEGRATION APPROACH OF FUZZY CONTROL AND CONVENTIONAL PROPORTIONAL ALGORITHM TO CONTROL A TV GLASS FURNACE. ALSO CONTROLLERS RANGING from CONVENTIONAL PIC CONTROLLERS TO HYBRID CONVENTIONAL-FUZZY CONTROLLERS ARE PROPOSED IN. ON THE OTHER HAND PLCS HAVE MANY ADVANTAGES SUCH AS FLEXIBILITY, CORRECTING ERRORS, SPACE EFFICIENT, LOW COST, TESTING AND VISUAL OBSERVATION.
