Abstract In this study, an application scheme for a coordinated ,iigit-al control of system wide ’preserving viability, through ,ocal augmentation actiontis.presented.The problem inv’istigated in this Jaesis represents a large important area of power system ipere-IL-lion . In the course of this research, it soon became juparent that really meaningful results could only be obtained through the context of the entire operation; of the large intercorne--te.d---.-- lower system. A complete control scheme is proposed and ;onditions of its viabilizing action are established in this work. I.M, scheme ’1z ens can utilize any of the existing v’fa6:M-06y tools~f-e frequency reduction of the AGC type, sae of spinning reserves or last T= back, help rom neighboring areas, overloading capability of equipments Or -oltage reduction. The results reported here make it possible o use system, under local control in a coordinated manner. The mathematical model used is.the bus. angle model. The ecessary theoritical background, for the control scheme with ecessary remarks are given. Properties of the viabilizing ools are reported in some details. |
