Abstract
The aim of the study was to evaluate some markers of ovarian reserve in women having unilateral benign ovarian cyst before and after surgical treatment.
The treatment and basal estradiol level (E2), antral follicle counting AFC mean ovarian volume MOV and clomiphene citrate challenge test CCCT.
sEVENTY FIVE CASES WITH UNILATERAL OVARIAN CYST RECRUITED.aLL PATIENTS WERE 19-42 YEARS old.
None of them had hormonal treatment for at least one month before recruiment .
The study also included twenty fertile women of matched age as control.
Sixty cases had cystectomy and fifteen cases had oophorectomy.
An informed consent was obtained from all cases then they were subjected to detailed history taking , complete general examination , high frequency vaginal ultrasonography.
