THE LANGUAG SUPPORT SYSTEM PROVIDES THE PROGRAMMER WITH VIRTUALLY UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF STORAGE BY RUNNING AGARBAGE COLLECTOR TO RECLAIM STORAGE NO LONGER NEEDED. THE PROBLEM OF GARBAGE COLLECTION FOR SINGLE PROCESSOR IMPLEMENTATIONS OF SUCH HICH HIGH LEVEL LANGUAGES HAS BEEN WELL UNDERSTOOD AND TOO MANY EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS HAVE BEEN PROPOSED AND USED.
