Different types of map projection to show the advantage and disadvantage of each one when applied to a specific zone of the globe.
The different types of projections used in this thesis are:
• The Transverse Mercado Projection
A Minimum Scale Error Projection
3. The Conformal Conical Projection with Two Standard Parallels
The Stereographic Projection.
It may be noted that , after the world war first, all countries
need to use the conformal projections, so all the projections used
in this study, are conformal.
The comparison process between the different projections is
ased on how a projection is suitable to map the area of Egypt.
