Abstract
Catheterization of the chamber of the heart and surrounding vessls provide very detailed information about the heart’s performance anatomy the functiopng of its values and the general condting of the circulation.
Pressure measumentts are made and blood sample are drawn via the cardiac catheter to provide information regarding haemodynamics and oxygen saturation within the heart and large vessels 135.
The catheterization procedure is a stressful for most patients because of the need for special preparation for patients before the procedurerization .
The study was conducted at the medical studies department and the chest department of Alexandria main university hospital.
The sample was comprised sixty adult patients undergoing cardiac cathete procedure.
