Abstract
The aim of this isinvestigate the prob-lem of manufacturing soare parts in egypt.Generally speaking,there are many manufacturing systems for the production of such spareparts.Spare parts are categorined by volume & variety conse-quently the appropriate manufacturing system is recemmended.It is suggested that group technology is used as a technique to elassify the components into fanilies & groups.The study shows that, the most appropriate manufacturing system used to produce these spareparts, is operated on gt principls & equipedr;u~erically Controlled machinery.
