Abstract Hyperteroonion Is Important Worldwide Public- Health Challenge,Because oF Its High Pervalence And concomitant risks of cardiovascular , cerebrovascular and kidney diseases . WHO estimated that high blood causes one in ehght deaths world wide , making hypertension the leading cause of death in the world , date from the egyption hypertension society indicate that egypt has highest prevalence rate of hypertension in the world ; moer than 7.3 million people require antihypertensive therapy . it has been postulated that achieving blood pressure contrpl is hampered by poor patient compliance with treatment . this can lead to inability of elders to stick to a management plan that includes regular intake of medication , as well as life style modification . The aim of the study was to assess compliance of hypertensive elderly patients with the treatment regimen . the study well follows a descripvite design. The study was arried out in all governmntal elderly patients with the treatment regimen . the study well follows a descriptive design .
