Abstract
Aim of the work
The aim of this study is to evaluate the role of Ischemia modified albumin in the early diagnosis of myocardial ischemia.
Conclusions
We have proved that the addition of a very sensitive marker of myocardial ischemia such as IMA to other established markers of myocardial necrosis improve the usefulness of these markers as the combined use of negative IMA, negative cTn , negative ECGs has a high negative predictive value for myocardial ischemia which is extremely useful to rule out myocardial ischemia in the emergency department.
