Abstract
The present investigation was carried out in 1988 and 1989 seasons on head trained 12
years old Red Roomy grapevines and planted at 2x2 meters apart in a vineyard at itsa Minia Governorate,Egypt .the soil is well drained silty clay with a water table not less than two meters deep.this research amied to evaluate the effect of cycocel , as well as , some micronutrients on buds behaviour and some vegetative growth , leaf chemical compositions, yield, as well as physical and chemical characteristics of Red Roomy grapes.
The experiment was set up in a split split, plot design where the main plots occupied by four cycocel concentrations (0.0, 500, 1000 or 1500 ppm). The sub-plots represented four treatment dates (one spray immediately after pruning, 15 days before first bloom, 30 days after fruit set or all of the mentioned dates togetger). Micronutrients (Mn, Zn, Cu and Fe) were applied at two rates 0.0 or 0.3 % and stood up for the sub-plots.
