Abstract This descriptive study aims at describing the normal phonological development in egyptian children aged one to three years through describing the acquired phonetic inventorym the phonemic inventory, the distinctive features, the phonological processes, and the syllabic structure. this thesis contains four chapters:represents introduction to developmental phonology which is defined as the study of normal acquisition of phonology by children, the materials and the methods, speech material, tape recording with live phonemic transcription,phonetic inventories, distinctive features analysis, aprofile of the three part normal phonological development, conclusions with the important results. |
