Abstract This study was established at the orchard of sids Horticultural research station, sids, Beni suef governorate during two consecutive seasons of 1996/1997 and 1997/1998 seasons on Washington Navel orange trees budded on sour orange rootstock. The soil texrure is silty clay. The objective of this work was studying the effect of spraying boron magnesium and active dry yeast (as a source of vitamins B) on some vegetative and fruiting characters of Washington Navel orange trees. This experiment involved two factors the first factor included three treatments of number and date of spraying boron, magnesium and active dry yeast namely one at three weeks before blooming , one spray at four weeks after fruit setting and two sprays at the previous two dates. |
