Abstract
The Present Investigation was carried out Over a Period two Successive Season, 1996 and 1997 on two-Years-Old Seedling at the begening of study Planted at the Horticultural Research Station, seds, Beni-Suef Governorate, Egypt.
The First Experiment :
The Seedlings of Valencia Orange were grown on five rootstocks namely Troyer Citrange, Sour Orange, Cleopatra mandarine, Rangpur lime and Volkamer Lemon. In the First exeperimental Season the Seedlings received one of the following three rates of NPK fertilizers :
1 – One half of the recommended NPK rate by the Ministry of Agriculture (54 g/N + 11.25 g/p 2O5 + 53 g/K2O/Seedling/Year).
2 – The recommended NPK rate (108 g/N + 22.5 g/p2O5 + 106 g/K2O/Seedling/Year).
3-One and one half of the recommended NPK rate (162 g/N + 33.75 g/P2O5 + 159 g/K2O/Seedling/Year).
In the Second experimental Season the Seedlings received one of the following tree rates of NPK fertilizers (whereas, the Seedlings were three-Years-Old).
