Abstract This experiment was carried out during the consecutive seasons of 1989 and 1990 in a vineyard located at abo flew on the eastern bank of the River Nile opposite to minia. The soil in the vineyard is well drained sandy loam with a water table not less than two meters. The research aimed to study the effect of foliar application of Fe, Zn, Cu and Mn each singularly and all the possible combinations using three different concentrations (namely; 0.0,300 and 500ppm) on buds behavior and some vegetative and fruiting characters of white banaty seedless grapevines. Two hundreds and seventy white banaty seedless grapevines were chosen as uniform in vigour as possible and devoted for achievement of this experiment. The chosen vines were pruned to leave 72buds per vine(12fruiting spurs x5 buds 6 replacement spurs x2 buds)in the second week of January in 1989 and 1990 seasons. |
