Abstract
The Main Objectives Of This Study Were To Assess Nurses’Practice In Giving Oral Medication And Identify The Factors Affecting Their Practice The Study Was Conducted In The Medical The Sample Comprised 70 Nurses Who Were Responsible For Giving Oral Medication Forty Four In The Morning Shift 13 In The Afternoon Shift And 13 In The Night Shift.

This list comprised of 20 items related to basic procedural steps in giving oral midication. These twenty items were grouped into assessment saftting. y measues and follwing the five rights in preparing and administrating medication obesvation health teaching as well as recording and reporting. Their main objec tives were to nurses performance in giving oral medication and identify factors influencing nurses practice.
