Abstract
This study was carried out at Mallawi Research Station belonging to Animal production Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, under the supervision of the Animal production Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University during three consecutive production years (1997, 1998 and 1999). This study aimed to evaluate some productive and reproductive traits in Ossmi (O), Chios(C) and F1 cross (½ C ½ O) sheep under the environmental condition of Middle Egypt. The relationships between haemoglobin type of the ewas and wool, milk production and some reproductive traits were also studied.
A total of 563 ewes were bred, of which 377 lambed and produced 528 lambs of which 475 were raised to weaning.
