Abstract This study was carried out in the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Minia University, during the period from February 1991 to May, 1994. The aim was to study the effect of Flavomycin as a growth promoter on productive and reproductive performance of Friesian and buffalo calves. Animals were divided into three groups .the first group (T1) remained as control group .while, Flavomycin was supplemented to the ration by 30 mg/head/day in the second group (T2) and by 50 mg/head/day in the third group (T3). The three experimental treatments were tested for their effects on growth performance, carcass traits, blood constituents and reproductive traits measurements. |
