Abstract

Access to sufficient quantities of safe for drinking and domestic uses and also for commercial and Industrial applications is critical to health and well being . and the opportunity to achieve human and economic developments. Peapol in many areas of the world have historically suffered form inadequate access to safe water . some must walk long distances just to obtain sufficient water to sustain life.
As a result they have had to endure health consequences and have not had the opportunity in their well being . with growth of world population the availability of the the limited quantities of fresh water decreases
This document addresses the Importance of the water desalination In Increasing portable water resources to accommodate water shortage due to population growth and limited existing resources.
Different desalination techniques were discussed including economic Considerations And Environmental Issues, And Different International regulations Considering water quality and recommendations were presented.The document explains In details the Idea of water desalination by humidification and dehumidification of air using air as a coolant medium and plate finned type heat type heat exchanger as a dehumidifier
The dehumidifier is designed as across – flow heat exchanger type of plate finned the hot humid air is forced to flow through its one pass horizontally while the cold air is flowing vertically upward in one pass by Induced draft fans .
The dehumidifier Is Divided In To (8) sections The cross Sections of the control volume Of each Section is normal to the flowing hot amount of total fresh water produced from each section is calculated .
