Abstract
The behaviour of the spontaneous polarization, ps, and the coercive field, ec , in pure TGS sing crystals is investigated near the transition temprature, Tc, of that crystal, using samples of different thicknesses. It is found that Ps and Ec decreases with tenperature with no discontinuity at Tc and the coefficient characteristic of second order transition is calculatated and is found to be 9.72 x 10-10 (esu/cm2) which is very close to the published data.
