Abstract
Recently, many research centers are engaged in applications of neutron physics using isotopic neutron sources, Employment of nutron source facilities are diverse and ingenious as their applications themselves. E.G. Quality control, process control, etc, as well as in education in stitutes where reactors are not available.
The availability of neutron irradiation facilities with isotopic neutron sources, holds promise of providing suitable methods for many in-door and in-situ applications of (E.N.A.A.) further more, These neutron sources can be handled with out too much difficulty and require no maintainance. This thesis is apart of aresearch programme on neutron physics and applications in nondestructive testing using nuclear technique. The work has directed to wardes design, construction and evaluation of irradition facilities using the available two plutonium beryllium neutron sources, of total 5-ci activity, for possible applications.
