Abstract In mild and warm regions, chilling requirements are not available to most deciduous fruit trees thereby the rest period of many buds are not completely broken. Accordingly, many problems are arising and resulted in decreasing the production of such fruit trees. There are some chemicals which help much in facing this phenomenon, consequently, can aid in overcoming the less presented in chilling hours under these climates. Understanding the physiology of rest breakage could result in the use of less expensive and safer chemicals. There by, the present study was conducted to clarify and evaluate the effect of Dormex at different concentrations and dates of spraying on some physiological characteristics of some apple cultivars grown under various conditions. |
