Abstract
Inheritance studies were carried out using the diallel cross analysis among four varieties of durum wheat cultivated in Egypt( Sohag1,Sohag2,Sohag3 and Beni Sweif1).The objective of the work was to figure out the genetics of some economic traits in wheat and to study the genetic control of the callus induction response and plant regeneration of calli derived from immature inflorescences. The field work was carried out from 1995 to 1998 at Mallawy Experimental Station,Agriculture Research Center,Ministry of Agriculture.
